A personal message from Phil Chrysler, Impact Health Sharing President and CEO
Election Day may be behind us, but the challenges facing American families remain. Regardless of political affiliation or election outcome, one thing should unite us all: every American deserves access to affordable healthcare.
We call on both incumbent and newly elected leaders, Republicans and Democrats alike, to come together around practical, common-sense solutions that put people ahead of politics.
Healthcare should not be so complicated, and it should not be so expensive. Americans deserve to know what their care costs, understand where their healthcare dollars go, and have the freedom to choose solutions that work for their families.
Protecting that freedom of choice also means preserving healthcare options that reflect people’s personal values, beliefs, and priorities. Healthcare is deeply personal, and there is no one-size-fits-all solution. Whether individuals choose traditional insurance or an alternative model rooted in faith and community, they should have the freedom to make healthcare decisions consistent with their convictions and financial needs. Public policy should protect that diversity of options, not limit it.
At Impact Health Sharing, we believe in the power of people helping people. Every day, we see what is possible when individuals and families come together to share one another’s medical burdens through a community built on faith, compassion, transparency, and personal responsibility.
We believe these same principles can help guide a better healthcare system—one that encourages innovation, promotes competition, respects individual values, and puts affordability within reach.
The election is over. Now it’s time to get to work.
Let’s move beyond partisan divides and build a healthcare system that works for the people it was meant to serve.
