Can I get routine visits?
Yes. Wellness visits—also known as routine visits, annual check-ups, or preventive care visits—are eligible for sharing through Impact Health Sharing.
These visits help you maintain long-term health, catch concerns early, and connect with your provider annually. Each eligible member may share one wellness visit per membership year.
What is included in a shared wellness visit?
For members age 6 and older:
- One wellness visit per membership year is shared at 100%
- Not subject to the PRA (Primary Responsibility Amount) or co-share
For members under age 6:
- One annual wellness visit is shared at 100%
- Additional well-child visits follow the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) schedule
- Additional visits are subject to the PRA and co-share
- Vaccinations and immunizations are not shared
How do I schedule and coordinate my wellness visit?
You may schedule your wellness visit with any licensed provider. To make the process smoother, you can use Impact’s optional Wellness Concierge service, which helps coordinate billing and prepayment directly with your provider.
Especially helpful if it’s your first time using your membership.

Is a sick visit or follow-up considered a wellness visit?
No. Sick visits, follow-ups, and diagnostic appointments are not considered routine wellness visits and are subject to the PRA and co-share according to standard Guidelines.
Where can I learn more about lab sharing?
Wellness visits often include lab work, but lab sharing is explained separately.

Additional Notes for Members Enrolled in the Senior Program:
The annual wellness visit described above does not apply to members enrolled in the Senior Program. Under this program, Impact shares secondary to Medicare after the member’s Primary Responsibility Amount (PRA) has been met.
The Wellness Concierge service is not available to Senior Program members. However, Member Services is available to help answer questions or assist in setting up your provider file if needed.
