What Happens When I Go to the Doctor With Impact Health Sharing?

Using Impact Health Sharing at the doctor is straightforward — no network limits, no hassle. All the information your provider needs is right on your Impact member ID card, and you can see any provider you choose. Your annual wellness visit is fully shared by the Impact community with no provider fees or co-shares from day one, including up to $150 for routine lab work per year per member. If your provider is unfamiliar with Impact Health Sharing, let them know Impact Health Sharing processes bills electronically like other programs using the EDI Payer ID on the back of your member card — and most bills are processed in less than 30 days.

using your impact healthcare membership is really easy. All the information your provider will need is found right on your card. I bet one of the reasons you joined impact was because you could see any provider you choose. you were suprised there were no network limits with providers with Impact. If your provider says they don't take impact, here are a few things to say - keep in mind - most healthcare providers will ask for your information when making an appointment - Here is a quick reminder. Your annual wellness visit is fully shared by the community with no fees or coshares from day 1. includes up to $150 for routine labwork  per year per member.  Plus impacts complimentary "wellness concierge service", handles billing for you . just book your appointment and we take care of the rest. It's an easy way for new members to introduce Impact to their doctor. Let's see what to do when it's not your annual wellness visit.  tell them impact doen't use a network, but proceses bills electronically like other plans. the only need to add impact into theri system. Show them EDI Payer Id on the back of your member card. If they can't help you, ask to speak with their billing department. Another option is for them to mail Impact the bill to our PO Box. address located on your member id. You can also give them a copy of your provider instructions that you can download at impacthealthcaresharing.com/doctor. another option if during business hours, is have them call us. Happy to have them set up impact in their system. If it's after hours or their hesitant to call, you can direct to the impact website www.impacthealthcaresharing.com/providers, which introduces them to impact and shows how to send bills for processing. finally the 3rd way, if the provider is still not able to bill impact directly go ahead and get the care you need. Just make sure you mention confirm they can provide you with a HCFA or UB Form. with all of these educational materials, most providers submit their bills to impact for processing seemlessly.  In fact, most bills are processes in less than 30 days.
