Matt's Wife Had a $10,517 Hospital Bill — Impact Health Sharing Repriced It to $1,500
Watch this video to hear how Impact Health Sharing's reference-based bill repricing saved Matt's family over $8,500 on a single hospital visit.
Matt Midat's wife had a two-hour hospital visit that resulted in a bill of over $10,500. Because Impact Health Sharing is a not-for-profit program, reference-based repricing brought that bill from $10,517 down to approximately $1,500 — all of which applied directly toward the family's Annual Primary Responsibility Amount (PRA). Over $8,500 saved on a single visit. That's the power of a community-driven health sharing program that takes bill repricing seriously.
Recently, my wife had to go to the hospital for about a two-hour visit. When we received the bill, it was over $10,000—$10,517 to be exact.
Because Impact Health Sharing is a nonprofit, they used reference-based repricing to negotiate the bill. They reduced it by more than $8,500, and we only had to pay about $1,500.
That amount went toward our Primary Responsibility Amount (PRA).
We just love Impact, and we're so thankful for everything they do.

I just used the FREE telemedicine consultation service right from home! The doctor called me 3 minutes later and immediately sent in a prescription to my pharmacy! My husband picked up the prescription and with my Impact card it only cost $7.50, instead of 30.00. I'm all set now and didn't even need to leave my house

Just yesterday I called IMPACT to help my mom who’s on Medicare and so confused with A&B, supplemental and part D. The Impact representative offered to call and walk through everything so she could feel confident. This showed me they actually care about people.
