How Does Maternity Care Work With Impact Health Sharing?
Watch this video to learn how maternity care is shared with Impact Health Sharing, from enrollment requirements to the $150,000 sharing allowance per pregnancy.
Impact Health Sharing facilitates sharing for maternity care, supporting members through every step of this important journey. To be eligible for sharing, members must be enrolled in Impact Health Sharing for at least 10 months before their baby's estimated due date — as recorded by the delivering provider in the member's medical record. In the event of a premature delivery, bills may still be eligible for sharing based on the estimated due date, not the actual delivery date. Eligible deliveries must be managed by a medical doctor, doctor of osteopathic medicine, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, or licensed midwife. After birth, members have a 30-day window to add their newborn to the Impact Health Sharing membership. For each pregnancy, Impact Health Sharing facilitates sharing of maternity costs up to $150,000 once the Annual Primary Responsibility Amount (PRA) and co-share have been met — including prenatal care, delivery, and post-birth maternal care. Fetal conditions known prior to joining Impact Health Sharing are considered pre-existing and are not eligible for sharing. It is essential that Impact Health Sharing is notified before any maternity treatments begin to ensure a smooth sharing process. For questions about maternity sharing eligibility, contact Impact Health Sharing directly.

I just used the FREE telemedicine consultation service right from home! The doctor called me 3 minutes later and immediately sent in a prescription to my pharmacy! My husband picked up the prescription and with my Impact card it only cost $7.50, instead of 30.00. I'm all set now and didn't even need to leave my house

Just yesterday I called IMPACT to help my mom who’s on Medicare and so confused with A&B, supplemental and part D. The Impact representative offered to call and walk through everything so she could feel confident. This showed me they actually care about people.
