We understand the importance of this beautiful journey, and we're here to guide you through our sharing process.Firstly, for maternity needs to be shared, you will need to be a member of Impact Health Sharing for at least 10 months before your baby's estimated due date. We use the estimated due date that your provider records in your medical record when determining if your maternity event is eligible for sharing.In the unfortunate situation where you deliver prematurely, your bills may still be eligible because, again, we go based off of your estimated due date when determining if the maternity event is eligible, not your actual delivery date.In order to be eligible for sharing, your delivery should be managed by one of the following providers: a medical doctor, doctor of osteopathic medicine, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, or a licensed midwife.After your baby's birth, you have a 30-day window to add them to membership so they can be part of our sharing community.Let's talk about the financial aspects.
For each pregnancy, we share costs up to $150,000 once your PRA and co-share have been met. This includes care before your baby arrives, the delivery, and maternal care after birth.
There are instances that are not eligible for sharing. For example, if fetal issues were known before joining us, they are considered pre-existing and are not eligible for sharing. And if you have not been a member for the full 10 months before your estimated due date, your related bills would not be eligible for sharing.It's crucial to notify Impact before any maternity treatments.
