What types of conditions can Virtual Care/telehealth be used for?

Impact’s Virtual Care makes it easy to connect with licensed providers for a wide range of non-emergency medical and mental health needs—all from the comfort of home.

Common Medical Concerns Treated Through Telehealth

Virtual Care is a convenient way to get help for everyday issues such as:

  • Cold, cough, flu, or fever

  • Sinus, sore throat, or strep infections

  • Allergies or asthma flare-ups

  • Skin issues — rash, acne, poison ivy, or insect bites

  • Digestive concerns — nausea, diarrhea, constipation, or reflux

  • Urinary, vaginal, or yeast infections

  • Joint or muscle pain — backache, arthritis, sprains, or strains

  • Eye irritation or pink eye

  • Minor wounds or abscesses

Telehealth visits through Impact’s approved Virtual Care provider (listed in the Member Center) have a $0 provider fee at the time of service. These visits are for non-emergency care only and are subject to all other limitations of healthcare sharing. They do not represent a promise to pay or provide services by Impact or its membership. As with all eligible medical costs, participation in sharing remains voluntary.

Mental Health and Emotional Well-Being

Members can also access Short-Term Teletherapy through Impact’s approved Virtual Care partner. Each member receives three sessions per month at no extra cost to work with licensed therapists who provide short-term, solution-focused support for everyday challenges such as:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Stress

  • Grief or loss

  • Relationship and marriage issues

  • Parenting concerns

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Career or job-related stress

  • Life changes and adjustments

Virtual Care is available starting day one of membership and open to all members, including seniors.
