What is the Annual PRA?

Your Annual Primary Responsibility Amount is what your household pays each year toward eligible medical bills before those bills become eligible for sharing with the member community. You choose the level that fits your needs and budget. A lower Monthly Share comes with a higher PRA, and a higher Monthly Share comes with a lower PRA.

What is the Co-Share?

Once your annual PRA is met, eligible medical bills are shared by the community at 90%. You pay the remaining 10%, called your co-share, up to a maximum of $5,000 per household each year.

What could potentially change my monthly costs?

Tobacco or vaping use. Members who use tobacco or vape pay a $50 monthly Tobacco Assessment.

BMI assessment. If anyone on your program qualifies, an additional $125 will be added to your Monthly Share.

How does the sharing work?

Impact is a nonprofit healthcare sharing community, not insurance. Members contribute a Monthly Share, and the community shares eligible medical bills together.

Understanding Your Pricing
