What is Virtual Care?

What is Virtual Care, telehealth or telemedicine?

Virtual Care is a convenient way for members to access medical and mental health support anytime, anywhere—without the need for an in-person visit.

Impact’s Virtual Care services include:

  • Unlimited 24/7 Telehealth for non-emergency medical needs

  • Short-Term Teletherapy for mental and emotional well-being

Telehealth connects members with board-certified doctors through secure video or phone visits, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It’s ideal for common, non-emergency issues such as colds, sinus infections, allergies, rashes, or digestive concerns. Telehealth visits conducted through Impact’s approved Virtual Care provider (listed in the Member Center) have a $0 provider fee at the time of service.

Short-Term Teletherapy provides each member with three free sessions per month through Impact’s approved Virtual Care partner. Licensed therapists offer short-term, solution-focused guidance for life’s everyday challenges—such as stress, anxiety, grief, or relationship issues. Each topic can be revisited once every 12 months, and additional sessions are available at a discounted self-pay rate.

Virtual Care is available starting day one of membership and is open to all members, including seniors. Services are subject to all other limitations of healthcare sharing and do not represent a promise to pay or provide services by Impact or its membership. As with all eligible medical costs, participation in sharing remains voluntary.

To get started, log in to your Member Center and select My Virtual Care to schedule a visit.
