What is required for membership?

Impact Health Sharing membership requirements at a glance:

The Impact Health Sharing membership requirements include the following:
  • Members cannot use tobacco, vape, or use federally illegal drugs.
  • Medical information is provided during the application process. If an applicant or a member fails to disclose medical history, lifestyle habits, or choices that may disqualify them from membership, and that information is discovered, medical bills will not be shared and/or their membership may be canceled.  
  • Applicant must have a U.S-issued Social Security Number and a valid Identification Card issued by the U.S., or Applicant must have an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) as well as a government-issued Identification Card issued by Mexico, Canada, Guatemala, and/or the United States.
  • An adult child (18-25) must meet the same requirements in order to be on their parent's household membership and have their Eligible Medical Bills shared.
