What is a "need"?

A “need” are charges or expenses for medical services that are provided to you by a facility or by a licensed medical professional to address your illnesses, accidents, injuries that group together in a single incident.  

For instance, you break your leg.  That is a need. All medical bills related to breaking your leg would be grouped together in that need.  ER visit, prescriptions, x-rays, etc.
