How does divorce affect your Impact membership?

During a divorce, your membership stays the same until the primary member requests changes, and we’ll help set up separate accounts when you’re ready.

If you are going through a divorce, please know that nothing will happen to your membership until the primary member contacts us regarding any changes. You have the option to separate the memberships between you and your spouse. Once the proper procedure is completed, the spouse being removed from the current membership will receive a new membership ID number, new membership ID cards, and their own member portal.

Please understand that any PRA (Personal Responsibility Account) accumulations will not transfer to the new membership, and the member will lose any PRA balance for the membership year. We will send an email to the member being moved to the new membership with instructions on how to activate the new account. If the account is not activated by the first of the month, there may be a gap in your membership.

No fees are applied for this transition. To start this process please have the primary member email us at members@impacthealthsharing.com or contact us at 1-855-378-6777 our hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9am - 6pm Est."
