Impact Health Sharing is a Healthcare Sharing Organization where like-minded individuals share in each other’s medical bills. Bills are shared directly between members through individual bank accounts by a concept called distributed reserves. Therefore, there is no pooling of funds as practiced by insurance companies.
Impact Health Sharing is not registered or licensed by any insurance entity, nor are they required to be. There is no collection of premiums, promise of payment, or guarantee that your medical bills will be paid. Sharing of medical bills is completely voluntary.
