How do prescriptions work for Seniors 65+ with Medicare?

Seniors enrolled in Medicare Part D have the additional opportunity to engage in our prescription sharing program.

Medicare Part D Coverage:

To be eligible for sharing prescription costs, you need to have Medicare Part D.

Purchasing Your Medications:

Your prescriptions must be processed through Medicare Part D first. After that, Impact for Seniors will share the remaining costs.

Some Specifics
After your Primary Responsibility Amount (PRA) of $1,000 has been met, your prescriptions may be shared as follows:

  • After the first $25 on generic drug prescriptions.
  • After the first $50 on Brand Name prescriptions (applies when a Generic prescription is unavailable.)
Prescription medications must be purchased using your Member ID Card.

Submitting Your Expenses:
Members pay 100% of the discounted prescription amount at the pharmacy, then submit receipts.

Simply submit your prescription expenses online.

We’ll then process these costs towards your Personal Responsibility Amount (PRA) or reimburse you, making it hassle-free.
