What if I need to go to the doctor, urgent care or emergency room?

If you need medical care, simply choose your provider, present your Impact Member Card and pay the provider fee at the time of visit.

If you need medical care, simply choose your provider, present your Impact Member Card and pay the provider fee at the time of visit. For non-emergency care, consider using a Telemedicine Provider. Members pay $0 for Telemedicine, $50 for primary care, $75 for specialist or urgent care visit, and $150 Emergency Room or Inpatient Hospitalization.

These fees are not applied to the Primary Responsibility Amount (PRA) and are paid even if the member has met the PRA for the year. The balance of the bill is then sent to Impact for processing and discounting.

If the medical bill is eligible for sharing, Impact determines whether the primary responsibility has been met. If so, the co-share is applied (up to the Co-Share limit of $5,000) and the remaining amount is approved for sharing. If not, the net amount (what you owe the provider) is applied to your PRA.
