Can I issue a refund to a member?
Members are eligible to receive a refund of their current monthly share if they cancel. To do so, they must have prepaid the month's share and cancel their membership before the month has started. Refunds cannot be issued for previous months. Because Impact Health Sharing is a a health sharing organization, monthly shares are allocated for member needs once the month has started.
For example, if a member wants a refund of their membership effective January 1, they must cancel before December 31.
**Impact staff may issue a refund of the current month with leadership approval. Please remember that even in this circumstance the refund will only be for the monthly share and not the admin portion.
